Meet Dr. Vincent Slovan

Dr. Slovan was born and raised in the Midwest where he attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in biopsychology. He then attended dental school at The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine to earn his Dental Medicine Doctorate. While in dental school, Dr. Slovan joined the US Navy and upon graduation, completed a 4-year surgery residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. After completing his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training, Dr. Slovan served two years in Okinawa, Japan, followed by two years at the Marine Corps Base in Camp Pendleton, California, taking care of Navy and Marine Corp service members and their families. After finishing 8 years of service for the Navy, Dr. Slovan resigned from active duty and moved to the Greater Seattle area, where he has laid down roots in the great state of Washington.
Dr. Slovan is a board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and also holds board certification through the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology. His treatment philosophy is to treat every patient as if they were one of his own friends or family. In treating patients in this manner, he enjoys providing an oral surgery experience that is calm and relaxing, ensuring his patient’s best interest is the number one priority.
In his free time, Dr. Slovan is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys spending his time camping, fishing, hiking, crabbing, and getting out on the water at every opportunity possible. Dr. Slovan grew up playing soccer and has remained a fan of the game, frequenting many Sounders games and often finds himself playing in a game of his own.
